    Looking for fellow Mini enthusiasts

    HI there,

We are the new proud owners of a 2012 MINI Cooper S and are looking for fellow Mini's to play with....
This is our 4th MINI over the course of many years. We used to be in FL and with the Sunshine Mini's group and really enjoyed the meet ups and friends we made.
Looking forward to meeting you all!:postcount

Rick. Are you on OffroadSC.com forums? I noticed a user name rum4b from Ridgeway in a thread talking about a new shop called CFS Offroad on Barnwell. Noticed you have a Jeep too and curiosity got the best of me so thought I'd ask!

Adam, that would be me. I couldn't use my normal name since I had to ahve 5 letters in it instead of 4.

Got the jeep about a month or so ago.

Ah very cool. I will have to stop by that shop sometime as well. Sounds nice. Recently went up to Gulches so, aside from being addicted, I found out I would really benefit from some proper armor and whatnot!

Of course haha. Just seems to cost more... Especially when everything is always heavy and hundreds in shipping!

Turns out getting it dirty is more fun than keeping it clean!

I had no idea how capable stock rigs are. Was my first trip there and I was completely blown away. Before I went I thought I would probably stick to the easy red trails, ect. We ended up going through all the blue intermediates then even went right up a black difficult one (there was a older mid-90s Jeep with no lockers that tried like 6 times before just making it!). Only made it half way up another black though. We had a guy in an orange 4 door Jeep who had just shown up with his son (Jeep looked right off the showroom lol) hang with us a while which was cool...was their first time to the park too.

I have just started watching what the guys in the NCFJ group plan and go from there!
    Individual Trail Rides

I'll definitely give you a shout next time a Gulches trip comes up. There are a lot of things in November but they are all 3 Hours+ away (Uwharrie / Hurricane Creek / Richland Road) from here and my wife and I will be going back and forth to Ohio for the holidays a lot....so that really dries up the travel fund! I'm sure a lot happens in the spring too....maybe I can add those skids and sliders by then!
