It’s not a biggest dick contest, it’s all about practice and knowing how to drive. Our group does not run full 10/10’s at the Dragon and the roads around it. Some people think we do and the fact is we are better drivers with better brakes and suspensions. Notice I did not mention power. Power is worth nothing if you can’t drive.
If you bring a “stock” car or someone with just an better then OEM anti-sway bar, and silly EBC pads you should not push your car at all because you are the ones that always go off and crash.
Hopefully, with Covid-19 most people (LXM type) will not show up and stay home this year and the rest of us can enjoy the area.

Hopefully, Covid-19 will be somewhat under control by the time of MOTD. Luckily, we spend most of our time in very small groups and a lot of the time in our individual MINIs. Praying for continued progress and for those who need help.

I called Fontana yesterday afternoon. The told me that they were closing indefinitely and that my cabin reservation had been canceled and transferred forward automatically to the dates for MOTD 2021. They were unsure if they would be allowed to be open for the MOTD dates.
I am unsure of the source, but I saw a post on the MOTD Facebook page that several of the main attraction roads (The Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway and others) were to be closed to all but local traffic in the near future.
My plans aren’t canceled yet, but it sure looks like it might be a long shot at this point. -

Both are open, but expect to get pulled over A LOT because of your out of state tags.
The Dragon is open from both sides. Check out https://tailofthedragon.com/ -
