You're from NC, anyhow, and probably know all the LEOs by name [and they, you]! Just give them a donut or two and go on your way!
The Leo last year “Cecil” loved my TRUMP 2020 shirt and wrote me up for “excessive braking”. $20.00 plus $3.00 court cost. I saw them on motorcycles as they saw me flying on the Dragon at well over double the limit and I jammed on the brakes a little hard. Leo’s are cool people too.
For anyone looking for a very good fast street/some Dragon/some autoX/a little track tire at a GREAT price. Check out the Firestone Indy500 tires. Read the TireRack reviews(#1 in their category) and check out the Firestone March coupon attached. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Firestone&tireModel=Firehawk+Indy+500 https://itagroup.hs.llnwd.net/o40/BridgestoneBOSS/PromoPDF/FSSPRINGFC20.pdf
Forgot to add that 12 MINI owners are in these reviews. (I will confess, my wife works for Bridgestone, I am bias. I personally only run the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R’s, because I still run 15” wheels. But this is why I included un-bias independent and owner’s reviews)
I think it was MOTD 10. I forget the number, but it was a lot on MINI’s. Here is the list of all past Dragons. http://www.minisonthedragon.com/past_dragons.php 10th Annual MINI's on the Dragon Review! May 2nd to May 6th 2012 Click Here for Photos Another record breaking year. We ended up with a record 1115 registered MINIacs. (approx. 772 MINIs) Hats off to everyone that attended and helped to organize the 2011 Dragon
Corona virus or not I AM GOING TO THE DRAGON. No need to wash hands as I will always have some type of alcohol in or around me. Hahaha (kidding) I will still wash hands and shower. Come on 500 MINI’s
I wonder if they will cancel the event. A lot of conventions are being cancelled Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk
As of 3/11/2020 For Dave: 442 MINIs attending For everyone else: There are currently 634 people signed up I can't imagine skipping out on MOTD because of the Coronavirus unless there are travel restrictions or I'm infected (in which case I'll be self-quarantined like a thoughtful person). I've got a cabin that I'm sharing with one person and my own car. I could take more food of my own for cooking there (usually I enjoy the local establishments, but I can cook, should I need to isolate a bit more). Fist bumps for everyone! Perhaps we need to institute a special MINI fist-bump... I could imagine that might be a knuckle bump, using only the second knuckle of your pinky finger.
