    That would make it too easy. One would just have to wait till the last day to enter to have a much better idea of the actual total.

    By closing it a month a head of time you have to guess with less certainty.

    Gee, thanks! But, you should take a survey to see how many people attend who do not register, though. 1000 registered participants are a lot and the facilities are stretched to their limits to house them all [look how far away many have to stay in order to just get to Fontana on a daily basis...and then there is that on-going parking problem once they get there]. I KNOW there are a lot more people who do not register. Many are veterans who have done all the drives and the dinners, but they still scoop up the rooms at the hotel there. Some are locals who just want something to do and to see all the MINIs.

    MOTD has sure come a long way since its inception...lots to do and see, but, maybe too big and not as personal as it once was?
