I like staying at the Tuskegee Motel on Rt. 28. When not out driving I generally hang out at Fontana, but the Tuskegee motel has a great front porch that I can sit and watch convoys of MINIs going past. It is like a rolling car show.
This LXM (BC only: not affiliated with the overall bigger LXM organization.) member has a few minor mods on his car. But also realizes his car has more potential than his driving skill. Also has a few stickers referring to said mods but placed in subtle locations.
Its a lot of fun, all the roads over there are fun. The Dragon is fun during the week. Weekends there is too many people. If its your first time take it easy and read the Driving the Dragon section.
Fontana is the center of the MOTD action. I recommend that First timers stay onsite. Put your name on the waiting list. But if all else fails, try to stay close or with others of your club members!
What @Dave.0 said. Also tell them your with a mini on the Dragon. It will help get a room or be put on the waiting list. Most years my son and I camped out once we stayed in the Motorcycle Resort, last year I stayed at Fontana.
