I've had two brand new OEM condensor fans put in my '04 S and yet the fan motor still only operates at full speed (stage 2) and doesn't idle down where it should. It has been suggested that I might have a relay problem and considering the original replacement motor was put in another '04 Mini with no problems, I am beginning to think there may be something to this...but have no idea what relay or switch assembly to whom it might belong.
Any ideas or good knowledge out there?

Happy to say it is fixed...pressure switch in the compressor will kick the motor into high gear if it is more than 1/10 of a lb high in freon. Mine was .250 lbs high (less than a teaspoon full). Amazing.
