Made it back to Nashville with time to spare!

Sad the Dragon is over for me. So many great people, and such a blast to just be there. I am already thinking about next year!

 

Yeah that happens every year. It takes about 2 week to go away.

 

For you folks trying to decide if you want to do the Devil's Triangle go for it. I've driven it twice & plan to do it again. Fun roads that you will enjoy.

 

One of the best comments of the weekend from the night security guard when Dick and Dave.0 crested the hill and bounced into the parking lot just below vendor row ..."okay, you did it once....don't do it again".

 

Well its official, the 2014 Colorado Convoy is over.

Now to get a little deep for all the convoy members... (Dont get all teary eyed, I'm still the same old Dick) It is extremely hard for me to say goodbye, or even to tell people how I feel, but I can type it out, so here goes...

Live to remember, never to forget. You all who where strangers, and mere acquaintances a few months ago now have a new friend. One that will always be there no matter what, never turn their back, and will do his best to help if ever needed. You gave me the opportunity to have the best time of my life in the last 9 years, and I did just that. Given everything I have been through, I find it very hard to be comfortable around people, yet with the three of you, it was like we have known each other for years. I want to thank you for giving me a new outlook on my life, and something to look foreword to. Material items only mean so much when you get down to it, but it is the memories and happiness that means the most.
I cant wait until we make the Colorado Convoy in 2015!

Really glad I got to meet the Denver convoy crew, might get on the kickball field next year. Speaking of, you guys promised to travel with Chicago deep dish pizza for next year [emoji16].

 

Sure did have some fun in Dick's Jeep going places one doesn't normally drive at Fontana. Was great to meet y'all too. No longer just online friends now.
