Shades of 'A Clockwork Orange' which naturally leads to: Pranged, prang·ing, prangs Chiefly British. 1. To crash (an airplane, for example). 2. To damage by colliding with (a car, for example). No surprises here.

What's almost equally as strange is encountering someone who actuall knows anything at all about 'A Clockwork Orange'. It's on the same plane as when someone asks if they can ask you a question and you immediately respond with '42' and they know what you are talking about. THAT is scary.
