Unfortunately "need to read again" and "will read again" are not one in the same.

 

Wow...like three threads going right now on this.......so this is what 1st gen, "tuning and modifications", has come to, coolant expansion tanks. Lol!

 

Yup we already have the best looking, most powerful, most FUN to drive and reliable MINI's made so what else is left?

You mean you didn't get your expansion tank tuned? It works wonders--didn't get a ton of HP, maybe 80 WHP or so, but it really smoothed out the torque curve, not to mention the flux capacitor is running much cooler now.

 

Mine's a nice A-flat.

 

If you fill the coolant tank it will raise the Tq limiters an make more power. :lol:

 

Yeah but if you squeeze the valve stems forcefully enough you raise that A-flat a full octave.
