He's been super helpful with me over the last year. Called and asked me questions about alternative options before shipping orders. I dunno, he's good in my book.

That tank looks gorgeous. I would get one too except the Canadian dollar is so pithy low right now, I wouldn't be able to get this past my wife.

I am happy to report my stock original tank is holding up okay still.

Maybe if I can find an excuse to visit Disneyland, and we go, I will drop by and, at the very least, save a few bucks on the cross border shipping.

The Greene tank is on my list, for sure.

Good to hear modification is no longer necessary.

it is one of the many items on my to-do list - lower priority than other things as long as the OEM is holding up. In my book, it's a reliability upgrade, so it will be done in the near future.

    Good idea or bad idea:
I want to JBWeld an aluminum filler neck with hose barb onto my forge tank. JB Weld withstands to 3960 psi & 550°

Just a small one fitting for the overflow should be okay. It may not look great. You might see if you can find some one to braze it on instead.

I used the Greene Performance tank and am very pleased with the results. I wish I'd bought it to begin with instead of wasting time on another OEM. It took maybe 20 minutes after a quick phone call to Colin who was quite happy to help:cool:.

JB welding the tank seems risky at best. it only will really acomplish those numbers in a lab with perfect prep.
Nearly impossible to do on a used part.
How much is over heating your motor worth to you?

Sorry you can't afford your meds

As you see in the pics the small fitting worked just fine.
