I guess the "people" in this forum are not "mad modders" Not sure what the point of your post is?

I too was curious about the fan and the switch. MINI does not sell the fan and control switch separate from the radiator. Our switch failed on the way to AMVIV and i was able to break open the housing with the help of Danny and bypass it so it was always on, but to repair it, I had to buy a whole radiator and fan assembly. I know RMW is also selling a radiator replacement, but I can't find the post on NAM.

I asked you not to copy the text verbatim from the site and use it as a post.
Look around, lots of link to lots of vendors both in the MINI realm and out.
In fact my intention as I read your post was to mention the following...
Zionsville Autosport has an all aluminum replacement made right here in the US. Indiana even.

Are you ready for aluminum radiator overload? Absolute Radiator Home Page
The OE radiator removes from the front of the vehicle relatively easy, there’s nothing attached to it once the hoses are removed (heat exchanger and dryer excluded), so no switch to be concerned with. The fan’s attachment to the radiator support is another story. There’s plenty of room up front to use larger tubing like 1.25 inch.
The OE radiator weighs very little; I doubt there would be a weight savings or gain for an all-aluminum one, I think it’s a non-issue in this case. If it were an old fashion steel and brass core it would be a major difference.
I’ve seen one leak in the OE core, but a few leaks at the neck fittings on the end tanks. The fitting is a separate piece secured by a couple screws and an o-ring to seal. Times may have changed, but when I tried to repair one a few years ago the neck and o-ring was not available separately.
I’m looking forward to seeing this radiator once Lynn gets it gussied up. After 32 days of +100F temps I’m excited about the prospect of an improved cooling system. It will require more than a radiator alone, but I believe in conjunction with other improved cooling components, it could go a long way to help control ignition intervention issues on days like these. -
