Date: Saturday, June 28th Gathering Time: 12:30PM OK gang after much anticipation the itinerary for our next drive is at hand! We'll meet up at Almost Heaven Desserts in Bridgeport, and depart for Kingwood and a photo opportunity at an old Esso station. From there we'll proceed to Rowlesburg and the WWII museum. Our travels will then take us south towards Etam, and another photo op of the telecommunications dishes that we missed the last time we were in the area. From there we'll head towards Parsons but turn on WV 38 to Moatsville and visit the nearby iron furnace. Then it's onto Nestorville and north to Reedsville to the Kingwood Pike with our destination being a restaurant in the Wharf District in Morgantown. Total distance is a leisurely 133 miles, drive time just over 3 hours, but as sightseers we'll be stopping along the way. If we start to run out of time and/or energy we can always adjust the length of the drive on the fly. I'll have a detailed drive plan waiting for us at Almost Heaven Desserts. Note! Note! Note!...that the gathering time has been changed to 12:30PM which will allow us to share dinner together in Mo'town.
