    We have a 08 Clubman S, and on the Run to the Black Hills last month, we put 2500 miles on it in 6 days, averaged 59 MPH, and got 34MPG. Just under 2000 of those miles were Interstate, cruising about 6% over any posted limit, the rest was mostly spirited runs in twisties.:Thumbsup:

    Wow, 6% over in an S... that's restraint! Around here 10 - 14% over (on fwy) means you're being considerate and going with the flow. :) I remember years ago driving up into Washington state where the posted speed limit was 65. Not a single car going over 66 all lanes. Troopers everywhere.

    Yes it does take restraint, like when you can see so far down the road, it's tomorrow on the horizon, and your the only one out there except for cows:lol:

    I set the speed on the cruise using our GPS, as it does not read the 3-5% over actual speed like the OBC/speedo does in a MINI. Speedo reads 83mph, GPS reads 79mph.
