Neat! Right where you can see it without taking your eyes off of the road. I high-mounted my wideband in the same place.

 

Me likey, need to get one of those mounts.

 

You guys can actually see those there?

I wouldn't be able to see anything above the tach. As it is now I can't even read the top of the tach dial. And I am 6' tall.......

Pardon the purely nooooob question, but what's the purpose of said gauge?

Can't do the top tach mount on an R56 as the wheel blocks the view. Didn't think I could do a side tach mount do to gauges, but your pics gave me an idea :idea:. It works!! Used 3M 2 sided tape and will fine tune the viewing angle tomorrow. Poor pic as I got kinda excited when I found it would fit (barely). Thanks

 

Just checked today, your right cant see it up there.

 

Are you seeing it above the wheel or below?

 

I got one today, the mount. I am going to mount it on the right side of tach and have a dual mount on the left.

 

Here's the final mount. A clear view thru the wheel and cable out of the way. Used Velcro to secure and give wriggle room to get correct sight angle. Hope this helps if you've got an R56 that already has gauges.

 

I don't have any trouble seeing mine.

 

Just changed up my setup. Went to a dual gauge setup on the left side, used two single pod's and a "y" connector, I like it better than the dual pod setup. On the right side I installed my Scangauge with Cravens new Scangauge bracket. I think it came out nice?

These are the new Marshall Mini specific gauges BTW.

 

That looks nice. How do you like the look of the splitter? I think We are going to be using those instead of the dual-cup going forward.

 

Thanks! I like it better than the one piece dual pod, but Steve has a great idea for the one piece unit, when you have a peak recall button, for stepper gauges, you can drill a hole in between the two gauges and install it there, would look very cool. I had a brainstorm and am going to be mounting a remote Valentine radar detector modual on a Scangauge bracket right above the Scangauge. The Valentine is a little wider though.....so.....? I think it will end up very cool.

 

Sounds good. I'd like to see that. People have asked about a FlexPod Radar Detector module, there are a lot of radar detector options out there though.

 

According to the specs, it's a little deeper, so we will either cut a small slot in the module to match the Scangauge bracket, or grind off the lip on your bracket and use double sided tape, not really what I want to do. Won't know until I get the module. Will keep thread updated.
