Firefighters from the Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to a car fire on Thursday afternoon on Woodside Court, off Hampton Circle. When they arrived they found a Mini Cooper fully engulfed in fire, Rochester Hills Fire Chief Ron Crowell said. "The owner said he parked the car, got out, then the car went forward, hitting the edge of the carport and started on fire," Crowell said. The car was a total loss; there was minimal damage to the carport, according to Crowell. Source - Rochester-Rochester Hills, MI Patch - News, Sports, Events, Businesses & Deals
