Seems like it would not be all that hard to do. Just have the first cars in line up with space between them and others just fall in when they see their color. having never set up the Dragon Parade I really am only guessing.

In 2006, we did a group pic of Pepper White at the base of the Dam. They are some of my favorite photos from that year.
We also had the idea to do a shot of Star Wars cars (lots of MINIs have Star Wars themes or names, for some reason), but that one never came together. -

I think it's a great idea getting specific colors together for drives/photos. It's something unique you can do at a huge event like MOTD that would result in some cool pics/video.
