Seems like it would not be all that hard to do. Just have the first cars in line up with space between them and others just fall in when they see their color. having never set up the Dragon Parade I really am only guessing.

    ROY G. BIV

    Red
    Orange
    Yellow
    Green
    Blue
    Indigo
    Violet

And just have a car of each color line up in a line side by side and then the respective colors fall in behind.

In 2006, we did a group pic of Pepper White at the base of the Dam. They are some of my favorite photos from that year.

We also had the idea to do a shot of Star Wars cars (lots of MINIs have Star Wars themes or names, for some reason), but that one never came together.

I think it's a great idea getting specific colors together for drives/photos. It's something unique you can do at a huge event like MOTD that would result in some cool pics/video.

You won't be the only one. We'll be there. There were ~4 of us OBs last year. we should get all the OBs together for a picture too. We could claim a new world record for OB MINIs in one place... 5! :D

Here a shot where we had all the Dark Silver Cabrios with the license plate "Snooter" on them. :D

You had to use a wide angle lens to get them all in one shot, didn't you?

Great idea. The they could just drive off, one line at a time. The horse cavalry had a command for that, "By files, right turn, march".

So... ALL of them will be there?

Actually, there was one for sale near the Mall of GA not too long ago. I remember thinking that Blainestang must have gotten rid of theirs! :D

Everyone compliments me on how nice it is. Especially non-MINI owners who have seen us all lined up. Mine is always the one they say "wow look at that blue!". But for some reason it must attract the non-MINIAC MINI drivers.
