Another interesting bit when searching "Cross Coil Over MINI" there is not a lot out there except for entries from sellers of the product. -

Thanks Nathan...
A little more info is in order. My current MCS is morphing more and more into a track car. Like many I started off modding the engine when I really should have started with suspension and many more track days. Just trying to get input from anyone that has cross coil overs on their Mini! -

Only thing I remember about these when they first came out was that the build quality was questionable.
Most dedicated track junkies are going with the KW/AST suspension. -
Yea when they first came out everyone thought they might be the thang, but I haven't heard anyone bragging on their Cross for the track.....or the street for that matter.
-
BTW...I went over the search logs and see it was searched for by the OP before the thread was created. So lets not assume that search was not used please.
On topic...
If I remember correctly the availability of Cross products has been spotty, and this was before the troubles in Japan after the tsunami. I could be wrong but you may want to check with those that retail the line. -
Way said that the co that mfg'd Cross went out of business and a another firm is trying to pick up the name and restart mfg'ing however Way has not heard anything -
.....

Cross has gone bankrupt in Japan, the US arm says they will be making the MINI Coilovers again next month, it's been next month for like a year now.
Cross Cross off your list... -

:lol::lol::lol: I don't think we'll ever get cross again. I've tried ordering every couple months and they never build them. I've just been using the TSW KW's and been very happy.

I've disliked every JIC coilover I've ever ridden on for other cars. Much better stuff out there IMO.

This thread needs not continue at this point since buying new Cross Coilovers is just not gonna happen unless they actually produce them again.
Those looking to buy them used, buyer beware that the parts needed to rebuild may not be available. -
Thanks everybody for the feedback!
As Nathan said I can cross Cross off my short list and I think KW just moved to the head of the list. I will be going to Texas World Speedway on the 24th-25th of this month for a HPDE session (fix?). After that I need to get hardcore about suspension mods, I will reach out to Way to see what I can work out.
I''ll try to get some good pics and post them! -

If you're within 400 miles of k-huevo and werkin-mini, it's certainly worth trying to meet up with or work with him. He has some good options available.

FYI JIC has been claiming they are going to make them, but reality is it is NOT happening. Yes they claim to be moving production here, but until they are actually producing parts and have them ready to ship I won't believe it.
As for rebuilds, I did send one in about 3 months ago and they did get it done, but it took twice as long as they said it would.
As for quality, I've got several customers with them and they perform pretty darn good and actually ride good for a dd car. -
All the crap with Colin Greene and PGT just poking each other has been removed. There is no love lost between these two. Colin sometimes works with RMW and PGT is not at all a fan of RMW. Anymore BS will continue to be removed, this is M/A and we don't cotton to this crap here. Take it to the other site if you want to keep sniping at each other.
