I was going for a Mini Utility Vehicle. I would rather see those on the road then the Escalades and the the Navigators.

Wheelgap Kills!
Oh, wait... that's somebody else's line.

i'm not sure if i like this model or not?? :confused5:

A Mini Crossover huh ? Must be the Type E MINI.
I wonder what sort of winter hunting camouflage that is ? Moreover, what do you hunt when using that sort of pattern? -
I love the idea, especially if they Mini-ize the thing (make it handle, maneuver, and have actual Subaru-like AWD capability - in other words not be a poseur). That brings in young parents who can have an MC or MCS for commuting, and that crossover thing for the family. Nothing wrong with that. Size it more like the original Rav4, and for cryin out loud make the tires larger in diameter relative to the body - that's a big factor that makes Minis look fun.
Then come out with a REAL offroader, with Wrangler-like AWD capability & a hose-out interior. Mini-ize that too. Make it SMALL dammit, maneuverable, darn near unstoppable in the tough stuff, and really cool inside. Call it the Moke and be friggin' done with it.
And anyone who says it "dilutes the brand" should look at the business model - we don't want Mini headed downhill financially because they only offer one product, do we?
I should be a product planner.
By the way, that's booger camouflage. It hides the fact that many drivers, well, "mine for gold" while driving. I don't (cough, snort), but some do. -

^ BOOOOOO HISSSSSSSSSS
I'm keeping my 1st gen MINI FOREVER. And may buy some spares, at the rate the styling is going downhill... -
Check the vid at 1:14 or so - there's no way those are close to production. BMW is fooling around with us, putting a fiberglass/plastic body on an X3 and tarting it around to get buzz. Bah. It'll look nothing like that.
Oh - and the French? Apparently they've stopped bashing Armstrong long enough to play with Photoshop. Ug-lee.
I stand by my liking the idea of a Mini crossover - and a Mini severe off roader - if they're cool, drive well, and the off-roader can really "do" off road.
I predict a roadster first, though. Easier to do. -
Mini Oxymoron? You'd think a car named "Mini" could only get smaller? Not in this alternate reality...

Boooo Hissss is right BC, I am with you !
Terrible new face lift, generic bonnet style......apparently going asian with angular headlights ?
At this rate it won't be long before it ends up looking like a Corolla or some Kia model......
Lesson for MINI.....''IF IT WORKS ! DONT $%^&* WITH IT !:mad5: -
Looks interesting... im sure the lights will be much different than those little nubs in the rear...

Edmunds did a story on the new MINI SUV.
Enjoy...

BAH! That's all tape tricks and cosmetics! The real taillights are hidden under the tape and some cut up milk jug plastic camo, and the hood lines (and part of the grille) are black tape.
They need to make this, then make the 2-door+hatch version with some extreme offroad capability (think "Moke"!). Somewhere in there, though... roadster!
For the haters: I like this. I'm not giving up my MCS for it, but I do need a vehicle with some additional capabilities (like the ability to vacation with 4 people, and tow) that retains Mini style and at least some of the dynamics. Yes, I actually have taken a vacation in my MCS with 4 people and their luggage, towing a trailer (MOTD), but wouldn't necessarily want to do that for every vacation. -
