Do you still use cable for Internet.

Yes. There are 3 basic choices here for me, all are "cable" based even though there is a fiber line outside my door that is dark...grrrr.

WoW, based by you Erik, provides the fastest speeds - 50/5 for the lowest price. AT&T and Time Warner only offer 24/3 to me at a greater base cost.

Thanks I will check on it. I call my cable company Comcast 1x a year to review rates and service. They are able to help drop rate and keep service the same.

I also have a powered antenna for OTA. Don't use it much myself, but The Girl™ does occasionally. I'm pretty impressed with it when I bother to look.

I have been cable less for about 3 years now. I saved my self $4,608 dollars in that time that i have put that money to paying of loans, credit card debt, and building up a very small saving just in case. For most internet needs I found using my phone was way cheaper and if i really needed a lap top i can tether it as needed (but that uses data a lot faster so i don't do it unless i have too.).
