I have a 2004 Mini Cooper with 19K miles only. My questions is should I be concerned with the cvt failing?

That's a very hard question to answer because it depends on how you drive and take care of your MINI.

    Have you replaced the fluid?

Doing a flush and refill on a regular basis will help the CVT to last longer. While MINI says it is a lifetime fill, it's not.

Thanks for the advise - I think I will bring it in and have the trans fluid changed. I will also see what they say. Thanks!
