2 weeks after i got my R50, a rock the size of my thumb cracked my perfect beautiful windshield. and that was like a year ago lol. -

lol, I haven't heard my first ding of the season yet, but it's been cold enough already for it. I remember talking to a MINI owner from Florida who'd never heard it. I use the first ding of the season as the time to change over to my winter wheel setup.

i guess that's a good thing, but it's also kind of a bad thing cuz sun hits my face most of the time during the year.
but at least you haven't gotten a ding ding like a rock ding. like my ding -

I got curb rash two weeks after I first started driving Spike. :mad2:
I fumed over it. Went out in the garage and stared at it trying to figure out what to do; repair, replace or ignore.
Several folks said to just ignore it and you'll stop worrying about it over time. How true. Now the only time I think about it is when I'm giving him a wash.

Got my first ding last week, we were actually driving through Snow at 8,000 feet. Frakin' cold!
