I find those sorts of comments fascinating.....
First of all, she pretty much has no "T", and at 100lbs not much "A" either...:biggrin5:
But so what? You haven't seen E Junior sticking his butt in your face in those Wrangler jeans commercials, or women hanging all over him in those cologne commercials?
But what does any of that have to do with driving a race car fast and well? She got where she is by hard work, determination, practice, skill and talent first, that she uses her sex appeal is what......a surprise?
Cause the best T&A in the world is not what's gonna get you across the finish line in any competetive race. Ask Milka Duno.....
Nope, I admire her for what she's done and I don't care if she poses for Playboy, long as she keeps driving like she did the other day.
You go, girl!

debscooper, I'm an F1 fan as well.
I'm also a Daytona prototypes fan.
And Aussie supercar fan (I'm going to the race at COTA in May)
A Piston Cup fan (especially the road course races)
A DTM and BTTC fan
An Indy cars fan
A WRRC fan
I've raced everything from SCCA to pony stocks.....I like 'em all!
I like most forms of motorsports, especially since I've done most of them and I know what kind of skill, training and sacrifice it takes to be good in any of them.
I know that motorsport is not what it used to be, there's not nearly as much emphasis on the "sport" part and way too much on the financial aspects, but you get what you get.
But none of that takes away from Danica and what she's done. She's not the be all/end all, but she's pretty damn good at what she does, and no swimsuit edition of SI is going to take that away from her.-

Ok I was not going to chime in but I can’t help myself. :mad2:
I don’t hold Nascar in hi regard. I won't get into all the reasons I don't like it. If you do great I'm not downing anyone.
Indy car racing is a shadow of what it was in the CART days. Before the split CART was a world class league every bit as good as F1. After the split it became amateur hour.
As for Danica I have never been impressed with her and I am less impressed with her un-sportsman like displays I have seen over the years. She may be an ok driver but not World class.
I don't mean rattle anyones cage. Just my 2 cent.
But other than that its great!-

What a difference a year makes...Daytona was an aberration, not an indicator of good things to come. Last year she....just....wasn't....very....good.
She's in trouble; it does not look like she's improved by leaps and bounds. Yes, you can make the argument 2 of the issues weren't her fault, but she was running at the back of the pack, where incidents occur. Run up front, and you have a much less chance of getting caught up with other inexperienced or poor drivers, in slower machines than yours.
Stenhouse looks better every week, and improved significantly over the course of last year. Dillon looks much better than Patrick, in a similar quality of ride, and he's a rookie. Larson is a wild child, but looks to have a ton of talent, another rookie who will probably have a better year than Patrick. She's had a full year of Cup, and the rookies are outperforming her. I see fewer and fewer apolgists everyday. I wonder how long Stewart can wait before pulling the plug--she's safe this year, but I wonder about next unless something clicks soon.
She caught breaks because of who she is. That's ok, but she's not capitalizing on it. Same could be said of Dillon, but at this point, he looks like the real deal.
Who would you rather have on your team, Dillon, a rookie, or Patrick, with a year of experience? It's not even close.-

I will have to be the Professor Fate here and say lap 15 turn 3; Ms. Patrick gets turned around. Hopefully Tony S has taught her well for this year. 196 MPH we will see if this holds the local boys.
