Like Tiger Woods, God how I love to see her stumble.

Just bump drafting....
I agree that was just racing NASCARP style. She is a good driver, but has so much to learn. Given enough time I feel she will. Heck 1st pole already, she showed she can wheel a taxi around a track. Learning how to survive in the pack is next. -
What bothers some folks is how the press treats her like some expert, the first part of the Bud shootout they kept going to her and asking questions. She had never turned a sprint cup wheel in anger at Daytona. There is a lot of drivers who have won in other series, drivers that have been busting their balls to make it and the press hardly gives them the time of day....
I like Danica, she is hot and talented, but she has to prove herself on the track before many including me will give her the due.
I wish her success, she is good for the sport!! -

Really?
Did you not read my first post?
allow me to re-iterate....
I've been following her since she drove Atlantics, and I've been impressed with her all along. She actually has quite a few records, she's the only woman to win an Indy car race (Japan), she holds the record for the most consecutive finsihes in Indycar - 50 vs the next closest guy at 32. She's lead the race at Indy, and finished 4th, she's won a Nascar race (Las Vegas last year) the only woman to have done so, and so on - yet she's still dogged by most so called Nascar fans. Never understood that.......but then they gave Montoya a hard time till he won his first race too. -
Yea I read it.... she still has to prove herself in NASCAR and I hope she does... Whilst she backed into one win in Indy car, considering the quality of sponsorship and teams she has driven for there.....her record there isn't bad but hardly earns her a spot in the hall of fame either..

Well, at least she didn't take out the jet truck and set the track on fire...

That will be replayed for years to come!!!
Funny thing is if you asked who I thought could actually do something like that he is the one!!! I know it wasn't 100% his fault but only he could pull that off... -
Actually after the lap 2 crash, there was little more than a lone spin out or two until the x open wheel driver ran into the clean up truck during caution. The ensuing final 40 laps from there, twas full contact racing....

Might as well shorten the race to 100 Laps or less. They pretty much just road around till the half way money and then waited till the end to really make any moves...
At times it did have some good racing but most were scared to touch each other much..
No one wanted to be like E. Sadler and cause a wreck.. -

Any racer worth his salt would have done the same thing Montoya did. Yes it was yellow, but he was trying to catch the field. He was caught out by a mechanical failure. For me I do not see this incident as his fault. Stuff happens.
Glad everyone involved is OK. That could have ended very badly. And why did it take sooo long to get a fire truck there? -

But Crash, the field was under a yellow flag. No reason to be going that fast.

Being a former racer, I've done close to race speed coming back around to catch up the pack. Granted, mine has been on tracks under 1.2 mile, but still applies. Aside from the major fire, if that dryer and safety truck hadn't been there, he'd have turned almost straight into the third turn wall. Granted, it made for a spectacular incident, but the crash could have been far worse for him even with the safer barrier.
Still, sure made him look like a idiot. My daughter named him Juan PYRO Montoya! -
Wasn't his fault, as soon as whatever it was broke, Juan was reduced to being nothing more than a passenger.... 2 cents
