And I thought he crashed because he forgot to turn left again..

I agree not his fault.. and probably a one in a million chance it will happen again, but I bet there are rules/changes in place before long.

Does anyone here actually know what the speed limit is under a yellow? The announcers said it was a perfectly normal speed for a yellow....so?? But like I said earlier, I bet things will change when those trucks are actually on the racing surface.

Speed is dictated by the pace car and can vary at different tracks. Believe the pace car speed at Daytona is/was 70mph, there is no real set speed limit for cars catching back up to the field under caution.

Only comment I remember hearing was from Waltrip saying he wasn't sure why he was going so fast. Montoya was not under any pressure to get back to the pack as this yellow flag was going to be in effect for a bit.

You're right... There are less than 3 inches at 200mph in this race (with no fenders nonetheless):

And check this loser F1 sissy out in the rain:

Running in torrential rains, with 4 classes of cars with MASSIVE speed differential. Wow, what a bunch of pink pantie wearing pretty boys.
NASCRAP. Where the tower dictates the winners and the losers in more races than not. Where you ain't welcome when you ain't from 'round here. Where all cars are the same POS old tech with stickers to differentiate the brands. Where nothing, and I MEAN NOTHING but who drafts who will make a position change happen. Where night racing is a "new" thing.
You can try and "educate" us on the benefits of this silly form of "racing entertainment" but I have been to them all (including working them ALL) and NASCAR just doesn't cut anything but the cheese. -
Aww dad... You are no fun!

I too like most forms of racing from a viewers stand point.
For me some are more fun to watch and relate too..
I wish NASCAR would run rain tires every now and then.. but it's a different world compared to F1 with all the different tracks and degrees of banking. Most of the F1 tracks are flat.. So I'm guessing they don't have as many different types of tire compounds and stiffness in the sidewalls etc. etc. as NASCAR. So it would be tough for GOODYEAR to just hold on to all these different rain tires in the rare chance they could use them.
My main problem with Indy cars and F1 is what the heck is this "push to pass button"..
If you have the power to pass the guy, pass him, don't hit the power/Nitrous button 5 times a race!!!! almost forgot you also have to be within a certain distance of the car ahead in order to even use it!!!
