Had a great time today, Erin is jealous. It was great to see everyone and enjoy some good beer! Thanks for the great ride, the great time, and the great (and totally unexpected) glasses! How many more times can I say "great?"
I didnt feel like i used the brakes hard, well hard for what we were doing. But u know, I went to fill up back in westerville, and there was a school sports team doing a car wash for donations. 2 bucks later (going to a cause), my wheels were once again white!
Glad I ran into you at the brewery today, I apologize for not taking the time to meet more of you, but I did have a chance to meet a few. I look forward to future events and meeting more of you.
It was funny because last weekend Nathan and I were eating lunch up at the car show in Powell and I was telling him about seeing your car on 270 and then you drove by.
I hope to meet & remember everyone's name one day. I do not have a very good track record at that. If I call you Jason please understand. Nice to see so many new faces & some old ones too.
Wow, how funny. I live in Powell and enjoyed that Powell car show. Minis weren't represented though! I've been meaning to joing the group for some time, just haven't got around to it. I RSVP'd for today's event, but ended up volunteering to work at Rockmill for the day. I had a suspicion the group was headed there, but still funny to pull and and see all the Mini's.
That was a real hoot. The route was lots of fun, even with a few "oh yeah, we should of turned back there" moments. How you find these roads is beyond me, but keep up the great work. Weather was perfect, such a pretty day to have all the windows and roof open. Great temps for the engine too. All in all it was darn good fun!
Thanks for the tour Mark! Found some great roads I didn't know about that are in my back yard. Not to mention the beer, less then 15 min from my house....on back roads!
Pictures are up Here are the latest batch of pictures out of my camera. Hope you enjoy them. 08-18-12 Mark's Dark Helmet Tour - crashton's Photos
It was a beautiful day for a drive. I particularly enjoyed Pleasantview Road into Lancaster. Just me and the cows... Whose exhaust, by the way was more pleasant than the boys' in group 2. : P
Great shots as always Chuck, thanks for bring back the memories from yesterday. "nice peaches, ladies".....you made me spit Diet Coke all over my iPad!
All I can say is virtually myself and Jim had a great time! The MINI's virtually ran great and we virtually had a great time meeting everyone! Here are some of my virtual pictures from the event.... Cheers Mr. Jim
