OK, so I cracked the bolt holding the timing tensioner, took out the old one, grabbed the package with the new one and that one is already extended... so how the hell do I get the genie back in the bottle so I can get that bolt threaded and the tensioner installed? I now have two extended tensioners and there's just no way I can push and turn the tool hard enough to compress the tensioner and not cross thread the bolt Heck, I don't even get close to the bolt ever grabbing a thread.

Do I need to buy another tensioner, or is there some funky twist and turn trick to lock it back in the install position? I've had it laying around for a year and somebody played with it, I think :)

Really should have done this when the subframe was out. Not touching it on the other cars until the subframe drops...

I am not sure if the links you listed are the same part as I reused mine and reused the OEM upper control arms. I did not need to add the adjustable upper ones to get a perfect alignment.

How's the rear trailing arm project going? I'm doing the same for this winter and curious to know if you need those ridiculously expensive stoppers. I think you do.

My garage is attached to the house, and I believe using a stove like that in there would be against code here, or at least triple my home insurance rate.

Code allows a heating furnace in a garage, that is how many homes are heated now days. A pellet stove has no exposed flame, the firebox is sealed from the heated space, and draws it's air from outside. Check your local codes, you may be surprised, they might let you install a heater of some kind, propane, wood stove or something.

I close my garage door and open the door between the house and garage and heat it with the house heat.

I'd be surprised a pellet stove or anything else with open flame is legal in a garage. For example, electrical outlets must be 30" above the garage floor to comply with code to reduce the risk of combustion from sparks.

I use the open garage door trick to cool the garage in summer, but heating it that way only cools the basement of the house where the garage door connects. I'd have to crank the upstairs heat to 80F to see any impact in the garage.
