The wing's all black now and looks much better IMHO. While it was being painted I took a quick trip on the highway to see what no wing was like. At anything over 65 the directional stability starts getting a little vague! Won't try THAT again.
What did you use for the paint? I have a Palo Uber scoop that needs to be painted black from it's previous incarnation of silver, with chips thrown in from the original owner rolling his MINI.
Don't know about the paint. I had a very good local shop do it, BumperDoc, Escondido, CA. They've done work for me before and I have no complaints AT ALL!
EBC Brakes Decided Beelzebub needed more WHOA to balance the more GO I've added. Just installed EBC's front Sport rotors and Red Stuff pads with the same pads going on the rear today. Bedding in takes +500mi, but can already feel the difference. Cold brake grabbing is gone and brake feel keeps getting better and better. BTW, anybody need 1.1 cubic feet of brake dust? LOL
Now that we are through snow season, time to do suspension. As Ka'a sits now. . .but not for much longer.
CF Front Splitter Here's Beelzebub's latest, a CF front splitter as of 7PM today. Still have to set the angle and put the plate back on, but that's for tomorrow. Oh, and a test drive at moderate speed of course. LOL
Little bit more growl when I hit the gas. Borla touring exhaust is not extremely loud but nice kind of a compromise between the wife and I
just found this thread, years after joining the forum Not recent images, but it still looks like that.
haven't had much time for photos this year. Car has been driven a total of maybe 40 miles since spring and may not see enough use to even get through a tank of gas. Had a million of other projects this year and now the car is on jackstands getting more upgrades - just like you should do with any car you barely ever drive More colorful views Mini with the sky on fire purple is the new gray Gray cars can be colorful It's an "S" One thing I still want to do this year is to take a few light-painted images of the car. I have the setup (5 foot LED strip with diffuser and grid screen, battery pack, etc) but never find the time to go somewhere cool and dark to do it... Been too busy shooting race cars at various venues. Guess I should post some in the relevant racing threads.
