Completely agree - can wait to see some of the intel posted in this thread. I need to schedule mine to be done at MOTD or something. That said, I have a few things I'm thinking about doing to it.. which should probably be done prior to having it all cleaned up. Hmmm..

You think this would work on my RZR's? Currently most folks use SC1. (don't forget these things are plastic bodies, get covered in mud and go through lots of water.. I can say SC1 does a good job and help when cleaning the vehicle post rides.

@Dave.0 How do you know when it's time to redcoat a car? Also do you use this on the trim now instead of Penetrol?

What coating do you use for rims? The black satin rims on the helmet are starting to look a little bad even after washing. It's like the brake dust is staining them.-

Lee if you keep you car in a garage and I believe you coated your car with Gyeon Syncro you should be good for at least 2 years easy. When you wash your car and dry it use Cure every couple washes and you should have no problems.
I just re-coated that Civic Type R after 2 years because the top (hood and roof) where showing poor water sheeting and beading. I also re-coated the factory 20 inch rims. The Type R does not get washed that often unless my friend has me do it for her. I wash the type R more times at the Dragon in a week than she washes it in a year. lol She does not wash often because unless done right you can scratch the Honda paint easily.
I stopped using Penetrol a few years ago. I remove it with some acetone and a pressure washer. I use Gyeon Trim on all the cars I detail as it hold up for years without re-coating.
As for your rims or any Gloss or Matte finish rims I use Gyeon RIM or Kamikaze Stance Rim coating. Both of them are excellent coatings for wheels and will not turn Matte finish wheels glossy. I just use whatever one I have on hand. Both of them will stand up to harsh wheel cleaners like Sonax Full effect wheel cleaners that turn colors to remove iron and brake dust. I always use the same stuff Crashton uses it clean all wheels before coating.
Since my wheels are well coated I can use just soap and water to wash my wheels. Don’t get me wrong, I also use the strong harsh cleaners on my wheels when needed as the coatings protect them from getting etched. I

I think you did the GP proud. I do love the depth and the completeness of your detailing.
The 'mistress' even looks a bit dowdy after seeing all the deep silver gray.

Yes it is the same son. I now have the Mustang, Oh boy. Soon to be sold. He loves the S2000 we plan on going to the dragon some time this year with our cars. He was lucky. He saw the car right after it went on Craigslist. The guy who listed it was surprised about how many calls he got on it in a short amount of time. My son was the first to call he told my son he would give him first shot at it so the next day he looked at it and bought it. There where several people lining up for it.
It is in great shape.-
