Still a lot of money for a 4-cyl.

If you really love this car.... buy one when it comes off a 36 month lease. Waaaaaay better deal.

Want a shocker, look at a used Lotus Exige S . The price has gone UP on used ones. I was thinking about an Exige S 240, but they're appreciating, and I suspect they'll depreciate significantly when the new Elise/Exige rears it's new Lambo face. Worst time to buy one ever.
Cayman S can be had reasonably...

Man, that's a smok'n deal. Won't burn enough fuel for me though, with all that weight and only a 2 liter engine...

The Exige think is remarkable. I too have followed them for the past year. The 240S has went up about 10 grand and the 260S (if you can find one) has increased close to 15 grand. I should have bought one a year ago. -
N2MINI MINI of the Month
Haven't they quit importing the Elise/Exige??? I think they have, which is why the used ones will now cost more.. As CHKMINI said, should have bought one a year ago.. I just can't justify paying close to 30,000 or more now for an '06.. In orange of course..
Back on topic. BMW must love the 4 cyl. Comes standard on quite a few of their cars. The other crazy thing is the 2 series and 3 series both start at 33 and change for their base models. Both use the 4 cyl as their base engine, but the 2 series base model has more HP then the 3 series base model.. Figure that one out!!! -
The exige was built, but not street legal for the U.S. after 2011. It, and the Elise, are coming back, street legal, with a ton more power--and weight--next year. Not interested in the new ones, still considering a used one.
