I spent Thursday and Friday in Charlotte, NC working on my deck in t shirt and jeans... 65-75 degrees. Saturday morning at 3am it was sleeting!

I don't think my summer high performance tires would do well on the Dragon with snow on the ground.

Took my car out for a little run on a local road today that is like the twisty areas of Hellbender. It was about 28 degrees out and the crappy A/S tires did ok with the speed and turns but I could control the rear slides without any issues.

Came home and took off my OEM CF JCW rear spoiler and it will be going you for sale shortly.

I will be installing a GP spoiler in the up coming weeks but the top of the rear hatch is prepped for paint and Clearcoat once the custom paint order shows up next week sometime.

No, I am not filling in the rear spoiler holes and I have little aero pugs that go in them.

I’ve done the Dragon in the winter. Glad I did it, but to be honest, not that great. Mixed road conditions, dry, wet, icy, snowy......all on one run. Nice to have no other people on it, but guessing they might know better! Lol.

    If we turn around now.......

I have a genset, so if we lose power I'm still OK. I loaned it to a fellow Mini owner a few weeks ago, he was out of power for over a week....it saved him, as we not only got the furnace running but also the fridge so they didn't have to replace everything in it too.
This is how my neighbor across the street dealt with the ice (he didn't have to work today)

Looks like fun to me. I'd want my ride to be wearing some good cold weather rubber. No crotch rockets to be seen, yes! :)

We got 1/2" of ice last night, followed by 2" of snow on top.....I'm not going anywhere today except down to the shop to work!

Good plan to stay in Dave. I hope your power doesn't go out. We had a whopper of an ice storm maybe 15 years ago. Parts of SE Ohio were without power for a week or more.

No, I just took it off as I am tired of it. Still looks brand new and I already posted it for sale. $500.00.

It’s been in the high 60’s low 70’s here. Tonight it’s dropping to 24 with a high of 38 tomorrow.

You went so fast the spoiler took flight? ;)

I always liked the look of the GP spoiler.
