    Indeed. I am celebrating his life by listening to Lord's Concerto for Group and Orchestra - which was about as 'prog' as 'prog rock' ever got. It's amazing to think there was a time when rock was seen as the next great high art form so that an orchestra as revered as the (British) Royal Philharmonic, conducted by one of the 20th century composer/conductor greats Malcolm Arnold, would perform alongside Deep Purple.
