aww shucks thanks you guys...wait...wut? HEYYYYY! lol :rolleyes5: hey look its the same color as my mini and it knows my facial expression lol
Absolutely love this car. I want to rebuild a classic MINI in the worst way, so many things I want to do, so little time. Are you going to do a serious track day with it? Love to know how it does. Oh, btw, it's got my vote for MOTM, if it ever comes back.
the plan is to do a track day with it...i now have a good idea what i need to do to get her ready for that sort of abuse...first order of business is sorting out the head/rocker/carb situation...once i get the engine tuned to where it should be then im going to sort out the suspension...basically all i need are new Gaz adj shocks and to swap the rubber donuts for actual coil springs
You get that set up right, that car could be an absolute blast for you, and a nightmare for whoever is out there with you...
Well at least the classic mini is the O- effing -riginal color and not some silly looking not fast or furious s-box with 80's tribal frame stickers on it.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Do you have a higher flow fuel pump and an upgraded radiator/cooling system? If you plan on tracking it once and a while for the fun of it then those might not be issues but they might be of a consideration.
i have a 2 row rad with the multi blade fan and i use a diff water pump pulley to slow down the speed so less cavitation plus i have a water temp gauge to keep an eye on it...plus for cooling i also have a Mocal oil cooler mounted behind the grille
That's a good idea, then you can have the tires to cruise around in and a set to really tear the track up with
Just got these in the mail along with new poly bushings for my lower engine steady(though i found i have a broken bracket) 1098cc Double Helix Valve springs also known as the Dual Spring Valve Springs
got her home...the power is certainly noticable...especially since he also tuned the carb and distributor up as well... and first thing that has to be done...new brakes
