I'm meeting some people for beers on Friday, which will probably end with beers into the early moments of Saturday, so I'm going to say I'm out for breakfast.

Tommy's get crowded fast.... Especially on Saturday mornings... If a bunch are coming I'd like a count so we can try and get a bigger table...

I'm so jealous, this is the second event in a row I am unable to make. However, I just washed my car again today; that's twice in less than a week for those of you making fun of my dirty car during donuts... Mark. I do need to know how to get those little rust specs off my paint; it's not rust, if I rub hard enough it goes away but they are visible if I don't wash it in a while. Someone told me it's from my brakes and it shows more on white paint. Could someone ask on my behalf the best way to get rid of that? and what products to use? Thanks.

They are little specs of tar or something like that. The Subie got them too. Use a bug and tar remover. It always worked for me.

    Count me in for breakfast

I've used the Mother's brand. I prefer it to the one I bought from Griots. You can pick up the Mother's clay bar at Advanced Auto parts. If you decide to try bug N tar remover be careful, it contains abrasives. I use straight kerosene or WD40 to remove tar spots.

Yea... so I went to advanced last week and asked the guy where I could find clay bar and he just looks at me like I'm a complete idiot and goes, "clay what? Never heard of it." Needless to say I left without any.

Ha yea; I was not pleased when I left. My dad has always noticed that I have a short fuse with stupid people (even when I was a little kid) and has always told me that I don't suffer fools well but fools are everywhere so I may as well learn to be patient. Does seem to be my luck though; probably b/c I drive a foreign car when I live out in the country.

Seth, I've got some clay bar you can use. I'll bring it to the next donuts and we'll give it a try.

I prefer the Griots clay bar. I have used a couple others and none seem to work as well. The real key is a spray with high lubricity, chicken grease works but then you need a waffle towel to clean it off :)

BWSM is fine.... Then we can coalesce into 1 or 2 cars for the trip to Tommy's...
