[imgR]http://www.motoringalliance.com/gallery/data/605/medium/car_shop.jpg[/imgR]1. Please tell us about your MINI when it was delivered. Option Packages along with the Year, Model and Color. I picked my MINI up in June of 2003. It was a EB/B MCS with option 2 and 3. I also added Harmon Kardon, Cruise, MFSW and Lapis Blue Leather. 2. Why did you choose a MINI? I was looking for a new car that was fun and exciting, something that I would not get bored with after a year. After sitting on one at an auto show I realized it fit me really well. So the next step was a test drive. I was sold at that point, but I felt like it should get dads o.k. so we went back for another test drive a week later and put my order in as soon as we were done. The problem was it took me almost 6 months to get the car! 3. Please tell us about the various phases your MINI has taken as your mods progressed. I jumped right into the mod bug! The car only had 700 miles on it and I added a full aero kit and painted all the trim to match. I then started to look at how I could corner faster, so I added H-sport Springs and Comp Sway Bar set. The car was almost a year old before it ever got a pulley, intake, and full exhaust system. Everything after that has been a blur in what got added where because at this point it had started a MINI performance company and that took a lot of time as well as seeing a lot of other MINIs. But my plan was always to try something on my car before I added it to other peoples cars to make sure it was a part I wanted to sell them. 4. What has been your modification philosophy? Clean and simple, go big or go home, and don’t buy the hot new product till it’s been tested. 5. What has been the most difficult mod completed to date? Why? Hum that is a hard one, I have done so many that I really didn’t think anything was hard. Maybe adding the cage since we only do that every now and then and I did a lot of extra custom stuff that I worked on at the same time. Have other Motoring Alliance members assisted you? If so, give them a shout out. Way From Way motor Works and Eric From Helix. 8. How did Motoring Alliance help you as a resource in your modifications? People would find me as a sponsor of the web site and order parts from us! That helps us mod this car. It’s the company car and we have a lot of the same dilemmas as everyone else does. So the more parts we sell or cars that we service, the more things that we can test out on our car. 9. What are you planning next? What remains to be done? What are your goals? [imgr]http://www.motoringalliance.com/gallery/data/605/medium/car5.jpg[/imgr] I would like to so some fun things to the inside of the car. I have wanted a gloss black dash for some time now. I would also like to make it about 250 hp. I have been working on getting parts for it, so that might be a winter build this year, along with an LSD and Super Clutch. But we also have plans to add carbon fiber doors, bonnet and boot door to make the car super light weight. 10. Please list all current mods. Very Nicely Done Nathan, Very nicely done. I'm into hotrods, steetrods, or whatever you want to call them, and you car reminds me of how we build our hotrods. Ground up, and detailed the right way. Safe, and full of performance. As I say, Kudos to you and your car. I'm new into the Mini Circle, as my daily driver, starting in November will be a nice little black and red 2011 JCW. Yes, I know I could build a MiniS to be faster, it's just that I just love the new look. Oh yes, no chrome brake ducts or rear fog light surrounds. But, as time goes by, there will be some conservative mods done. This will be my first car bought, in quite a while, mainly because I want a long term love. Again, great car

Score! Great ride with tons of tasty mods. I actually LOL'd at the part where you're asked where you research all your parts.
I too am building a model of my dream car. It's on a one-to-one scale. I DRIVE it every day. Looking good. Keep up the dream.
