Waiting on my 4:00 to get here... Nothing major just some scuttle lights on a Countryman getting some metallic tint. [emoji12]

Not naming names, but most of the regulars here will figure it out when the paint starts going down. [emoji12]

Yeah Chris there was a good bit of tire left on 2 of them, but not enough to get me to the Dragon and back, so now the full set is garage furniture... [emoji12]

Dick, you should have saved them, seriously, when they've worn down that far, maybe just a little further, that's when they're at there best, I salivate when they look like that, on a dry track they're ready to rock and roll. If you're getting rid of them at that wear level you're better off with a different tire with a higher treadweear, just sayin'....

Oh, and you car needs either more negative camber, higher tire pressures or both...Or exactly the opposite depending on which side that worn shoulder was on.

That was high pressure and 2.3 degrees of camber, plus street use... Not much rubber left on the inner shoulders... Now I'm going to be keeping with the R-S3's for a while. [emoji6]

Nice looking setup, I have seen other car parts used for that, just not tires.

Looks more like rust after the bronze and black flake and before the candy pearl.

Looks very good, a lot of gold on my MAC monitor, will have to see it in person to get a true color look. :)

You have time for a small clear-coat job?

    :)

If my dogs were there you would have no bunny issues. They keep all the critters of of the yard. The one even digs up an occasional shrew.

Just keep an eye out for things you like Paul... I'm doing a lot of different stuff now! [emoji2]
You might like the rust sculpture I am doing for a friend in MINI5280, and given your recent circumstances, you have plenty of old parts on your hands to build one! [emoji12]

Doing something different with my GTT strut bar is the most obvious choice. I'm trying to keep the exterior and interior flavor of the car pretty true to the GP1 OEM theme, at least for a while. But the gloves are off in the engine bay.... and that strut bar is a great canvas. Just don't know what I'd have you do with it, quite yet. Still needs to fit in the overall theme... Maybe with matching cabrio braces and hard engine and transmission mounts... which have all been red, in the past... I really liked what you did with the distressed candy valve cover...

Sounds like a good idea Paul! The Mazda valve cover, or the Rat's cover?

Anyhow, starting the base colors on the coolant tank, just got the surface prep done, time to mask it, hang it, and shoot some primer! [emoji12]
