They are still drying! I woke up at 4:30 so I could get them flat, and spray the final clear on. [emoji12]

Going up to a friends house in Loveland in a bit, and Erin will pick them up there.

    Pic's will be coming. [emoji2]

I'm thinking more like an emergency stop button, but it has to be spring loaded and light pressure to trip it... This thing is only going to weigh about 30 pounds and I dont want it to slide around trying to turn it on.

It will also have to fit in a 2 5/8 hole. (Ican measure the depth from the boost gauge in the Rat, Its mounted in the same cup.)

I was thinking more like this... To turn it off you just smack the cover closed.

Was thinking the vent would make the ultimate man room item. Painted with a Union Jack or the MINI Wing Logo.. Would be time consuming to tape out and paint but would be cool when finished.. and you know someone would buy it...

So, I take it you will mount your on/off switch on the turn signal?

I have 55 more of them just like this! The next batch will be modified a little, because some of the pieces were WAY too delicate, and I ended up cutting those pieces off! [emoji12] Compare the yellow decal pic to the finished product to see what I mean. [emoji6]

So use metal next time for the model (I have one someone gave me as a gift). There is a market for this, you go on LXM with this and you'll have a lifetime of work. And it's the gift that keeps giving, you know they'll mod their car further and want the replica to look the same....

If it were me, I'd personally deliver it to Chris. Let him get a good look at it while it's in your hands, point out all the detail, then accidentally drop it, stumble, and step on it. He's already got his refund.
