Where did you find the model? I might make one for myself.

Its getting down to crunch time to plan out paint jobs for pieces to be sold at the Dragon... And I'm still clueless!
Give me ideas, and I just might make it happen... [emoji2]

R53 mirror caps with a red dragon theme.

For metal sculptures I don't think you can go wrong with some rusty little dragons. Maybe incorporate a part that says MINI or Mini on it.

    Unfortunately I don't have any R53 mirror caps. [emoji20]

I've got ones for an R56 (non power fold) and a set for a Countryman/Paceman though... As well as stock intake box covers for the same...

What about a "rat rod" take on the Union Jack for a set of the mirror caps?

Looking for designs and color schemes that people would buy, and would go with their car... Not many of us have a rusty MINI.

I like the Idea that MRNTD suggested, and I can go somewhat crazy under a red candy pearl, so that one might make it to the table. [emoji2] Just need to think about the layering, and layout.

That is cool! But would it sell? Also doing big graphics on something with a complex curvature like mirrors is very difficult, something like that would be more suited to an air box, or set of fenders. [emoji6]

Mirror caps are quick and relatively easy to do, but I only have the two sets.

It helps me get the overall design right if I can probe around in the buyers head a bit though... So anybody with an R60 or a non powerfold R56 have any color suggestions?

    I like your thinking! [emoji12]

That being said, I have a few kinks to work out with this pattern first... You've got to count that this was just a shading test panel over a single color base, and limited use of materials... We will be seeing more of this style. [emoji2]

It's not my thing, but it'd be very cool to see it done, it'd be a head turner for sure.

Thanks MRNTD, I've still got some work to do in order to get the full 3D effects right, but It's not far off. [emoji12]

Congrats MRNTD! Get out and practice with it! The little bottles of Testors model paint are cheap and readily available... [emoji2]

Ok since there is nothing to read in my usual threads, and I am starting to get stuff ready to spray for the Dragon...

Ladies, or guys who can un objectively think like a lady for a few seconds to a minute, you get to pick! Without knowing all of the project details, which of these three is most appealing to you?

I pick number 3 and I think it's because of the eyes.

I think 3, with a possible for 2, if you put some character in the eyes.
