Stripper juice!
Wouldn't that make it slippery?

I got an airbrush kit for Christmas.
It's from Master airbrush. A small piston compressor, water trap, airbrush, and hose. Now to get some paint and start practicing. Maybe one day I'll be as good as Dick.:fingerscrossed:-

Oh the difference the clear coat makes!
When I am working the different base colors on any job, they are not shiny, the metallic isn't very visible, and it is easy to take pictures of.
Then once you add the shiny clear, things go nuts! [emoji12]

I've got some stuff lined up in the coming weeks this month. Mostly small things, tinting lights, clearcoating an old helmet that got some Sharpie artwork, and other stuff.
Also waiting on a couple bigger jobs... Might be doing a good bit of stuff on an F56, and a hood respray on an R53.
So stay tuned! [emoji12]-

Well the Sky Blue candy just got sprayed on them... Next up is taking the remaining stencils off, and flaking the hell out of them with a True Blue .04mm flake! [emoji12]
Starting to get crazy! [emoji12]-

He's doing a Sistine chapel roof graphic for me when he's done with the mirror caps. It'll look better than the original by that Nigerian painter, that Micheal A. Ngelo dude (or whatever his name was).

This has been a great weekend for getting the shop off the ground! [emoji2]
I have got a few great leads, and some actual reserved slots going! Also want to thank everyone who has offered to donate parts! It is a good start on stuff to have available at the Dragon! [emoji2]
The project I am most excited about right now is a motorcycle helmet going to my gunner from Iraq in 2003! Well technically it will be going to his dad, but that is beside the point... Going with a Vietnam era K-pot helmet design, and will be getting started on it sometime during the holiday season! [emoji12]
I also found some time to prep some old steel, and get the podium for the rust sculpture lamp welded up!
Things got a little freaky for a bit in the garage getting the coating off of the spring, but I escaped with only minor injuries... [emoji12]

Clear coated a set of R56 headlights this morning...
Back to fab-ing up what is possibly going to be the craziest desk lamp EVER!
Hopefully Chris will let me take it to the Dragon as a display piece! [emoji12]

Today I got a random box of awesomeness from N2MINI!
The headlight rings can be painted and sold, the arch trim makes good color test panels, stickers can always get stuck to something, the random aluminum pieces can be used in ground up projects like the lamp, and the wooden MINI lettering can be used as a multitude of different things, but what the hell am I supposed to do with an old heater vent? [emoji12]
Well scrap metal is scrap metal! So even if I cant use it, its worth a couple cents in the next truckload that goes to the recycler!
Thank you for the donation, one persons junk, just might be somebody else's dream! [emoji2]-

Just letting the clear dry now, then it's time to fire up the hot glue gun and start reassembling everything...
I will never paint another one of these, it has been nothing but problems since it was dropped off!
Heres how the signature stencil looks before the clearcoat...

Hey ModFather, can you make me one of those little cars, except chop the top, and craft me a perfect little six-point roll cage replica for it, and make some little seats that are perfect replicas of my Corbeau LG1s, and cast me some little 949 6UL wheels, and and and...
Because I hear you LOVE mucking with little model cars...
-
