Got mine in the mail on Monday.
Does make me tempted but I think I can resist.

Yeah, The fiance' is pushing for the new one, but I haven't really seen anything that makes me want it over my 06. Maybe other than the seats :)

The seats and coil-overs for me. It looks like there is a real harness bar which I would like but the seats do not appear to have holes for harness belts which does not make sense. I am not a fan of the wheels or all the stickers. I like that it has 17" wheels instead of 18" wheels.

@quikmini, that is not a functional rear strut bar. Just for looks (same as R53 GP).

GP2 has a lot to offer. Recaros, xenons, coilovers, massive 6-pot Brembos, functional brake cooling ducts, and a few other features not found on GP1.

    Stickers can be removed.

This is true, but I am just trying to figure how much it would cost me to go aftermarket with most of these things and save some money? It just seems that mini hasn't gone over the top with things that would truly make this GP stand out like the GP1. Maybe it's just me being picky though.

That bar in the back is NOT safe to hang belts from. It's just like the bar in the 1st Gen GP, it's there because of UK laws inquiring a barrier to stop stuff from sliding into the front seats when braking.
