Thanks guys. I'm not going anywhere, but every day we lose another brother or sister in arms to this disease, and until the government can figure out a way to actually help soldiers who suffer from PTSD things aren't going to change.

Yep, the medical side is the very best, IMHO. Most of the people on the C&P side were a real pain. Not all, but most. I simply made it a point to not go away and beat them at their own game.

People get lost shifting around. Move the thread not the people. If that's too simple or logical...............................well too bad.

Congrats LCS, and pass my best wishes on to your son. My girlfriends Grandson graduates on 23 May. We're probably going up for the ceremonies.

How was Kadena? I was stationed at Sobe, just up the coast back in 1968.
Loved the island! -

I liked Naha better than Kadena.

GokartPilot Well-Known MemberI have to ask seeing I am a little ignorant when it comes to Army terminology, what’s ah 63Charlie? I am curious seeing you mentioned you were Armored Calvary. My Dad was with the 4th out of Fort Riley in 64’ as a tank mech. It was important to me when I started my career in the Corps that my first unit was a Tank Bn, swung it so a Tank Bn was my last unit when I retired.

GokartPilot Well-Known MemberThanks!
Very true, some more than others!
I liked being in units with lots of rolling stock, can't see humping when you can roll there. :biggrin5:
LOL! -
Good thing too because a Scout is Trustworthy and a few other sometimes inconvenient things.
I always thought Resourceful should have been the 13th point of the Scout Law. Then I was reminded that Trustworthy and Obedient would interfere with that 'pon occasion. -

Boy - I went over to the Vet's forum as suggested by Rick. I posted a couple of comments and then realized most of the threads died in 2011! Wow!
