I have nothing but good to say for the VA medical side. They found my cancer and now I'm cancer free for almost two years. It's just the hoops one must go through on the other side of the VA that gets me.
Yep, the medical side is the very best, IMHO. Most of the people on the C&P side were a real pain. Not all, but most. I simply made it a point to not go away and beat them at their own game.
There are a bunch of use in the thread who like to talk about things, so lets get the "Vets" page going again. Copy it in you control panel and then click on it a couple of times per day to check in. It will NOT give you a notice that anything new has been added, so you have to go there a look. Any new additions will be shown in "Blue" so look there. I put one in to get ya started. http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/groups/military-veterans.html#axzz2wAIHGHIN
:cornut: Or if possible.............................do some computer magic and add the vet thread to the top of this thread and the people don't have to go anywhere as the threads were combined here instead. People get lost shifting around. Move the thread not the people. If that's too simple or logical...............................well too bad. Jason
It doesn't work that way Jason. Do it the way it has to be done or don't. I out rank you, so consider it an order.
25... So easy! Go find a mud puddle... Roll right! Roll Left! Little man in the woods... Go! Go change your BDU's back here in 30 seconds... GO! And repeat...
Navy '84-'88 VS32 USS America .....(since retired, sent to the bottom) was an experience; flying on/off the farm was badass, but going to GQ for real definitely raises the pucker factor when you're on a target that big found out that the military runs in the family for a long time now.....mom sent me a copy of an old tin-type/daggaurre (sp?) type photo of a greatx2 grandfather in the 47th and Argyll Highlanders in WWI, supposedly his father & grandfather served; grandfather was a WWII tincan sailor, my dad was a Navy Diver for 27 years and now my son graduates in April, gonna be a SeaBee!
call me very Proud!! My Son just called from Great Mistakes, he is now officially a Squid!'' They finished "Battle Stations" earlier today so they got to call home and tell everyone they made it! Graduates this Friday and then off to Port Hueneme for "A" school.
Congrats LCS, and pass my best wishes on to your son. My girlfriends Grandson graduates on 23 May. We're probably going up for the ceremonies.

63Charlie in Armored Cav from 1969 to 1983 when my AC Unit was disbanded. I went from Motor Sgt to recruiter and quit. Saw all kinds of places, did all kinds of things, and am just now beginning to be able to talk some of it out. Good stuff and bad stuff. Have more to say but have still have trouble saying it. This is a good thread, and thanks Justa Jim - followed your advice. It helped.
