Not 100% but it's a large space when you remove the seat and get under the carpet becuase a huge area is filled with a styrofoam block.
I took mine out added a layer of Dynamat and had a decent size amp flush mounted under the seat for a while.
Of if you pull the seat out disconnect the battery because of the airbags in the OEM seat. You don't want to trip the airbag light when you unplug the seat before removal.
Also it's much easier to work with the seat removed.-

I'm the handsome guy in the bottom right. [emoji6]
Anyway, the plan is to hide a Rane RPM26z signal processor under the front seat. It's a studio processor converted for 12volt operation.-

Whats the demensions on that? IIRC there is about 14" between the seat rails, and for that processer height wont be a problem... As Dave said. the floor carpet and foam is almoast 1 3/8" thick.
I keep an Odessey PC-680 under there,-

Rane makes a damn good processor.
I think that will fit under the seat (Under the rails) but I hope you do not need to make adjustments or make them all before you put the seat back in. :fingerscrossed:
** Oh you have to plug in the seat before you hook up the battery but you don't have to mount it in place. It would make it hard to dial that baby in without power. :rolleyes5:-

Thanks for the warning Dave. I'm hoping it is large enough for what I have planned. That would save me the headache of finding a spot in the back.

Its more space that you would think and its open under the seat rails. I used to have an older large JL slash series amp under the passenger seat.
Now with the new JL Audio digital HD and micro small but very powerful XD line you can hide them anywhere. -

17x8x1.75 so in looks like I might be out of luck unless I make another case for it.

^^^^ wow things have come a long way since I was in IASCA in the eary 90's.
I was sponsored by the original MB Quart, and Hiphonics. I was the only one in my class with a Richard Clark noise gate. I had a nice hard pounding pair of JL 12's.
