I purchased the Dodo Juice Ferrous Dueller. I had to do four treatments, but it finally all came off. I used the entire bottle by the time I was done.

Before I did the Dave.0 rainx treatment, for stubborn brake dust, I have had to use the Ferrous Dueller two or three times. For the tough spots that the blue 3M pad wouldn't remove, I use wooden chopsticks and rub with the big end to remove the dust. The wood doesn't scratch my wheels and allows me to apply enough leverage to the baked on spots to get them to look good.

Now you just need to not let them ever get that heinous again. Hopefully, you gave them a couple of coats of RainX to seal them up before putting them into duty.
