Nah wife's choice, she went for the Laser Blue w/ Black roof. Color doesn't look that good on the website but it's really growing on me in the light. So does a dead deer wiped out by a semi but that doesn't mean I gotta like it

Speaking of weird stripes...saw an R56 with regular MINI bonnet stripes, but they were placed about 2 feet apart from each other at the bottom of the bonnet, then they curved up and back towards the windshield. It. was. hideous. The wider the stripes start, the better. It looked like one of those wannabe MINIs that just puts stripes on for the hell of it. - Marc
i remember seeing that movie when i was a kid. thought it was kinda weird at first, but then i realized that bruce willis and chris tucker are in it lol. then i thought it was interesting and then i started paying attention. to this day, i still do not know what the title of thta movie is :lol: oh and marc, i can totally visuallize in my head how disastrous those stripes must've looked. stripes are awesome on a mini, but it can't be something way out of the original look/design.
Guess your in a dork crowd, permanet collection here. Probably watch it 3-4X yr. Odd thing is that it was directed by the same guy who directed the Professional Lon the Professional Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes Movie where we were introduced to Natalie Portman who has probably won my all time worst movie performance in a otherwise stellar flick in Star Wars III Her deadplan, no emotion "oh luke, I love you so much" makes me want to hurl. My strategy is to fast forward past all of her scenes. Thank God for the FFW on the remote.
The stripe might not have looked good, but I think my drawing ended up rather cute. Look how good this version ended up. Never tried to draw an R56 before.

I don't mind the Interchange Yellow...... But I can see me getting tired of it quickly. (I'm pretty open-minded... keep in mind I have Hello Kitty tattooed on myself- no judging please ) I'm still waiting for picks of the stripe!!!! :mad5:

easy g-friend, I'm going to the dealership tonite, hopefully that black cabrio will still be there. I saw the snot green one on the road so that one is random. I can 'hope' to see it again You do have Nabeshin's artist rendering to hold you over until, pretty close I mentioned the Hello Kitty to my wife who, to put it mildly, is really into cats and she got a good chuckle. I also told her of the guy/gal who used the Hello Kitty with a AK47 logo on NAM. Cracks me up everytime I thing about it.
