I find with things like this, that at first the offend, then they fade to neutral. Sometimes they even grow to be appealing. Time will tell. Matt

I too really hate the "power bulge" look of the latest hood. Really kills the curves of the design. What the eff were they thinking? I think the hood changes are worse than the stripes... matt
Pretty goofy. Move it to the back edge of the hood, reverse the slant and I bet it'd look a whole lot better.
I'm honestly trying hard to get used to this. After all, it's different, which is appealing enough for some, and I don't want anyone to feel offended that we're saying his/her car is ugly just because of something as minor as a stripe. Besides, I've seen some hideous (IMHO) things done to MINIs and this doesn't even come close. I'm not feelin' it though and wouldn't want it on my own MINI. Might work better if it didn't stand out so much...maybe subdued 'ghost' stripes...but even then I'd only consider it with certain body colors.
