Ok so I know this will probably spark some debate but give it a read and look at the data first.

Sooooooo Here we go. I ordered all of my parts for this build from this site.

Intercooler Pipe Fabrication - Silicone Intake Systems Auto Parts

Here is a list of what you will need to order
    1x 1.75"-2.5" 90 Bending Reducer
    1x 2.5"-2.75" 45 Bending Reducer
    1x 2.75"-3" Reducer
    1x 1' 2.5" Diameter Aluminum Pipe
    1x 1' 3" Diameter Aluminum Pipe
1x Carbon Look Filter with Rain Guard 3" inlet

    T-Bolt Clamps
    1x 1.75"
    1x 2.5"
    2x 2.75"
    2x 3"

    Total Parts Cost
    $92.54 Plus Shipping

I used a friends DOS Hole saw and I am not sure what the diameter was. I will update this thread when I find the info. The install is very straight forward and I am confident that most people will be able to see how it will all go together. You will have to remove the bottom hose from the factory intake, or leave it dangle where it is. I didnt like that pipe from the very beginning and had it removed while using my ALTA intake as well. Unfortunately I cannot do a step by step since it is already completed. but the pictures below are the completed install. Along with a AP data log showing MAF flow rates and Ambient temprature at WOT. Keep in mind that the meth help ALOT with the intake manifold temps. If you have any questions please let me know and any feed back is welcome.

Thank you. Sorry for the terrible I-Phone pics. and the Data log came out like crap as well. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get that uploaded properly let me know.

I like it! Thumbs up. I have the DOS and really like it despite whether or not it improves performance. I would like to swap out the stock plastic induction pipe for a silicone/hard pipe eventually. The stock pipe tends to flex and try to torque it's way off the turbo inlet.

    Great job!

On the MCS the turbo inlet is 1.75" and the MAF is 2.75" you can run the 1.75-2.5 bending 90 degree reducer with pipe to a 2.75-2.5 45 degree reducer connecting the Maf. Works pretty well.

A little over a week now with the new filter setup and still extremely happy with the mod. I have been running the turbo inlet pipe for over a year now and highly recommend getting one!!
