But nobody was there except you and a small group from NC. MOTD was long over, which is why you didn't see me, or Nathan, or Crash, or Mark or........the list goes on and on. :D

"But nobody was there except you"

Everyone was there.... That was there...

"you didn't see me, or Nathan, or Crash, or Mark or........the list goes on and on"

Most of those guy's see me every week.... And they are probably tired of it.... To also see me at MOTD, just might push them over the edge....:D

Are we sure about this? I mean Dave.0 says he is at the dragon every year, but no one has ever seen him!!

Maybe metalman is in stealth mode whilst he is there.......

A little update.... Not much to report... Been busy...

Added my x-y alignment springs and screws that will make it easy to aim the beam pattern...

Didn't like the movement I was getting with the bracket flexing so I added a small diameter rod at the top and bottom of the bracket. This eliminated all of the flexing....

A few more trim pieces need to be fabricated and then they will be sent to the powder coater for a matt black coating....

I'll be down at the shop tomorrow morning working on the electrical harness and relays....

    Getting real close now....:D

Make sure to use high quality wire nuts for your harness. I think I have some left over romex wire if you need it.

After changing my daughter's oil and filter in her car this morning, I was able to get the wiring harness and weatherproof relay mounted for each light... I should have the last bits and bobs arriving in the mail next week so I can get this job wrapped up....:D

Glad you didn't let the smoke escape the wires. Nice tidy installation Chuck!

Could you link to your source for the various parts of these lights and holders?

Lights are made by Hella.... Sourced from Summit Racing

Relays are made by Hella.... Sourced from CE Auto Electric Supply...

OEM connectors made by BMW... Sourced from MINI...

Not sure what you mean by holders..

Sorry, I was WAY late to this thread and noticed the bit at the start about rubber holders for $20 lights.

The amount of work you put into this is amazing! And way beyond my repeating it.
