If your interested enough to read this thread, you can probably do a simple detailing clinic for your club. YOU WILL LEARN STUFF. I've been doing detailing clinics for our local club for the past few years, and today I did one for the local Mercedes Benz club. I now know why Richard (OctaneGuy) does them. You learn so much by showing others the proper way to do things, and I'm not talking full blown polishing with a machine, just the right way to 2 bucket wash, plastic trim care, towel selection and care. Basic detailing, how we all do it. This can take maybe a hour or 2, today took about 3 hours, had a good interested group of about 25 folks. For me, I may get a few cars to detail, and a couple of folks were interested in 1 on 1 in their garage time. Mark
I would if we go to the Dragon, timing hasn't worked out well the last couple of years for us to go though:frown2:. Mark
Great Mark! Yep, clinics are fun! For me, the greatest satisfaction comes when you've done them for a few months and the people you teach begin teaching others, and you can sit back and relax a bit, seeing that you've now started something BIG. My first clinic had 4 MINIs and we were up to 25 MINIs in just a few months during my monthly clinics at my home, where this all started. Here's are some old pics of my clinics back in Feb. 2004 Definitely some fun times and great memories there!!!
