    My '81 AMC had the high beam switch on the floor... Also, pretty much all the military junk (humvees and other light/medium duty trucks) still have a floor switch.

    I wish automatic headlights where never invented... Maybe then, people would realize the blue light on the dash doesn't mean your regular headlights are on! I miss the spotlights that where on the Jeep on my drive to work in the morning.

    All done to create more work in the service dept. If you can't do anything, then when the light comes on you have to take it to the dealer. As long as the dealer in the next city.:crazy:

    My first car, a '63 Nova SS convertible had one. I thought that switch it was supposed to kick in the after burners, but all it ever did was dim the darn headlights....

    Who remembers the little lever on the lower firewall for the reserve fuel

    tank on early VW's? (the ones without a fuel gauge).
